Our outreach into the community of El Rio(Oxnard), California has begun. El Rio is a mostly Hispanic community with many needs. We are responding to the needs of hunger, education assistance, and the plight of disadvantaged single mothers. MORE»
In January 2008 we started two programs in El Rio, California. Our Kid Power tutoring progam provides afterschool educational assitance for elementary age children two days each week. We have also opened a food pantry each Saturday. Both programs are being received and utilized. We are always looking for qualified volunteers for both programs. MORE»
