On Sunday, October 5th, 2008 we will be hosting our 1st Annual Fundraiser Dinner. There will music, good food and beverages, auctions and prizes. You will hear about our two highly successful programs launched this year and our plans for expansion and our dreams for 2009. This is an evening to get dressed up and celebrate with us! We have a lot to share! The Fundraiser Dinner will be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Oxnard from 6pm to 9pm. Attire is semi-formal.
Also come and hear Mr. Rudy Carrasco, a gifted and dynamic speaker and Executive Director of Harambee Ministries in Pasadena, Ca., share our vision and hopes for the future. Mr. Carrasco will also share with you about what an organization like Mercy Ministries International means to a community like El Rio and the life-long positive impacts it is having in the lives of children and families of this community.
So now we are inviting all who are interested in the work we are doing in El Rio and willing to contribute to our future success. Fundraiser dinner donations are $100 per seat. The Marriott Courtyard is located at 660 Esplanade Dr., Oxnard,
Ca. 93036. Their phone is 805.988.3600. To get there take the 101
Fwy to Oxnard and Exit and Vineyard Ave. Turn South (toward the ocean
and Esplanade Shopping Center) and proceed over the freeway overpass.
Once over the overpass get into the left-turn lane and turn left on
Esplanade Dr. The Marriott Courtyard Oxnard is approximately 500 feet
on the right. You can't miss it! See you there!
